My Co-op Experience

I wonder what people’s life experiences would be about their Co-op internship. It’s fascinating about how one may feel like working as an intern? Many people have varied experience of working as an intern in different industries. Some might have enjoyed the feeling of working for their first job and might have gained a lot of memories and invaluable experience. Some might have not thought positively about it as the Co-op might have failed to give them an adrenaline rush to enjoy their work.

My experience has been very fruitful and therefore I would like to share my experience through this blog. I started my Co-op in DCR Strategies which has helped me to get my firsthand experience. I was lucky to find a talented mentor. The entire learning experience has broadened my horizon in different directions. The practical experience I gained has helped me to tackle difficult situations. My Co-op at DCR Strategies made me organized and gave me an opportunity to help plan my daily schedule.

People have excellent or unhealthy experiences while working for their Co-op; it was the same with me. My friends had unhealthy experiences due to unsupported staff and mentors. On the other hand I was lucky enough to have a paid coop job that helped me out manage my expenses for a few months and also gain invaluable experience in learning various marketing strategies that I could apply in a workplace. It seems like I was lucky enough because every aspect necessary for a Co-op was well designed into my own.

The organization gave me an opportunity to learn and gain so much out of the Co-op that I didn’t mind going beyond my way to make a difference in my workplace.

I got to learn new things which were very important in marketing industry. Therefore, I am grateful to DCR strategies for everything that it has done for me.
